I like the final release preset but I can't adjust anything outside of what the preset is so I can't us wadinclude etc etc. I've used it for years literally and never had a problem, so i can't help but feel injured.

Well for one why does one setting make a kb bsp and the other shlt a 3mb bsp. Sparse is really only required if you're getting lighting bugs without it - usually if you have a huge map with high-res textures. There is no difference between 8 bounces and bounces. Bounce works different in VHLT.
